McGregor V Aldo UFC Fightâ This Weekend
Take two five months on Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor, finally step inside the Octagon to fight for the UFC Featherweight Division. Aldo is the current champion and the best pound for pound fighter in the world according to the UFC point ratings. McGregor the interim champion and 12th in the pound for pound rankings is the favourite to take the title.
The pair were due to meet early this year but Aldo had to withdraw from the contest after damaging his ribs in training. Medical advice forced him to pull out so a replacement opponent was found in Chad Mendes to take on McGregor. Mendes, the number 1 contender and highly rated fighter, who compares himself to Mike Tyson. But, McGregor does as McGregor says, he is going to do and won the contest on a second round knockout. Although, McGregor did struggle in dealing with Mendes Wrestling skills in the first round and the initial stages of second round. Mendes, is from a wrestling background where McGregor is not noted for his wrestling moves. But all great champions find a way and Conor certainly did that. Mendes trying implement a headlock move which McGregor defended magnificently gaining the initiative with a huge left hook. Mendes was not getting up and McGregor won the belt.
This weekendâs fight will be a different affair. Aldo has speed and power with explosive kicks that can hurt his opponent. Coming from a tough upbringing in Rio there are no question marks over his hunger and battling qualities. Age 29, he has seen many battles which do take their toll, but also make him battle harden with that experience to get over line in big fights.
Aldo’s last match with Mendes did go all the way in a tight contest just outscoring Mendes to retain his belt. This contest a lot tighter than the previous between the two had led to suggestions that Aldo is, may be, in decline. McGregor is fresher, very hungry and extremely tough mentally. The pressure seems to bring out the best in him. The trash talk is obviously very entertaining and is probably one of the main reasons he has become a global superstar earning vasts amount of money. But, the trash talking is also one of his main weapons. Aldo is much quieter by nature and prefers to do his talking in the Octagon. He does not trash talk his opponent and nor is he comfortable with it. Very commendable and an admirable qualities but McGregor has been working on this. Getting under Aldo’s skin at every opportunity which could lead to a different Aldo entering the ring. Emotions, passion and hatred could boil over which can have detrimental impact on his style, approach and decision making. McGregor only needs one chance such is the power in his left hook.
If you are travelling to Las Vegas to the fight it will be a fantastic weekend with thousands of Irish fans going. Remember, if you are collecting your tickets in Vegas you can print them using the T1291 ink cartridges in local internet cafes or in your hotel.

Continental Christmas Markets becoming an Irish Tradition
After Black Friday and Cyber Monday Christmas shopping is well and truly under way. But, if you had enough of the hustle and bustle of crowded shops and long queues for tills, then the Christmas Markets just might be your thing. Once a tradition more common with European cities like Brussels, Amsterdam or Berlin the Christmas Market has become a big draw in Ireland. OK, the Markets are outdoors and the weather can be cold but for Christmas spirit and atmosphere, great food and drink and all sorts of Christmas traditions like carol singing and Mulled Wine there really is nothing better to give you that warm Christmas cheer.
Many towns and cities now host Christmas Markets with some spectacular stalls throughout Ireland. St Stephen’s Green in Dublin running one the busiest Markets in the country. Located in Dublin City centre this is definitely worth the visit. Only recently set up as some of the local shop owners unsurprisingly objected to the competition, but for the visitors, it is attracting and to buzz around the area is fantastic. The local shops must be happy with the outcome. There are 60 or more stalls now trading and lots of diverse food treats and restaurants to try.
Galway only knows how to do spectacular and it doesn’t disappoint with the Christmas Market in Eyre Square right in the heartbeat of Galway centre. Very much a continental feel with over 50 stalls offering lots of great food and crafts. If you’re going the pastries are a must, beautiful home made pastries and continental flavors. Christmas presents for the children is accommodated, a nice selection of Toys from 3 main stalls. Technology gifts including IPad Tablets, Mobile Phones, Xbox and plenty of games to compliment, Laptops, scanners and Printers including the Epson SX215 printer ink. A traditional vibe to the market and a tremendous atmosphere help with the live choirs and carol singing. And how can we not mention the lively German beer tent. Yes, when all the shopping is done you can enjoy a German beer and live music. Surrounded by many famous pubs which Galway is so famous for….why not make a night of it.
Reducing Carbon Emissions – Paris Meeting
World leaders are meeting in Paris this week attempting to bang out a deal on Reducing Carbon Emissions. The aim is to maintain the rise of world temperatures by 2 degrees. The planet has been getting hotter at an alarming rate so this must be halted first before a strategy is drawn up to reduce temperatures back to an normal level. 150 countries are represented at the talks so hopes are high that progress can be made. Previous meetings have proved futile but this gathering of the worldâs most powerful men must deliver if we are to stand any chance of controlling the issue.
The event known as COP21 is very much focusing on the long term strategy on reducing Carbon Emissions. Industry holds the key to achieving positive outcomes. Design and improving technology in the automotive industry resulting in less emissions in motor vehicles will be at the top of the agenda. The automotive industry is the biggest contributor to global warming, solve this and we will go a long way.
Producing electricity is also a big issue, arguments will continue as to what method is most suitable for generating it. Wind farms have become ever more common as it is a natural form of energy with no harmful waste. But it is not cost efficient thus questioning the long term prospects. On the other hand Nuclear electricity is an obvious choice financially but there are huge doubts over the Nuclear waste produced and the serious problems it can potentially have.
Many believe that recent terrorist attacks in Paris will act as a catalyst to achieving solidarity amongst world leaders. 150 leaders will all have their own agendas putting their countries aims and objectives to the core. This being the main reason why the last big gathering ended in arguments and walk outs. China being one of the highest Carbon Emissions countries such is the level of industry. Having initially been reluctant to make a significant effort China are now very determine to make it work even if it is not on the economies interest.
This attitude gives us hope and perhaps the main factor why a positive 40,000 people will attend over the 2 weeks united and determined to deliver. We all have a contribution to make in our own sector even if it is a very small. The printing industry for instance has produced higher density toner cartridges that will produce higher volumes of printed hard copy using less resources. HP CE505X toners are an example – a small impact maybe by comparison but every little contribution will add up to something more significant.

Bridge of Spies – Another Spielberg Classic
A film set in the Cold War ‘Bridge of Spies’ tells the true story of a Russian Spyâs role in the War. Starring Hollywoodâs ‘A’ list actors Tom Hanks and Mark Rylance, the journey is both compelling and fascinating – treating us to a spectacular film. By all accounts another Steven Spielberg masterpiece bringing a real story to life with extraordinary characters who will captivate the viewers.
The story surrounds the U2 war plane, Gary Powers, which Russia had captured from the Americans. The US wanted their prised asset back and were willing to exchange Russian Spy Rudolf Bell. However trust amongst the two nations is unsurprisingly low, hidden snipers placed to overlook the exchange in Berlin from both sides incase anything went wrong. So we can imagine the potential for fireworks and the film did not disappoint.
The preparation and build up to such a deal between two fierce enemies is intense and brutal. Negotiations are extremely tough and fierce with so much at stage politically. Negotiations between 2 powerful enemies will always be compelling but add into the mix 2 undercover spies exposed on either sides of the conflict. Interrogations of the witnesses forms a major part of the story as each side tries to outwit the other. Has their undercover agent cracked under interrogation or could they continue to play hard ball in exchanges? An incredible plot and thrilling drama that will keep you entranced right to the end.
Spielberg again displays his wonderful talent and grasp of the situation. Viewers will gain a great understanding and insight into the dynamics of the Cold War and difficulties which existed with America and Russia. Strong character performance by Hanks highlighting the intense demands and complexities involved being an undercover agent especially in a War of two super powers.
The show has got big reviews thus far because of the unique story line. There is always an intrigue surrounding uncover roles. Why would an agent put their life in such danger? How do they managed to pull it off, gaining the enemy’s trust under the most daunting scrutiny. It definitely got our attention, as big fans of the film we downloaded and printed all the film merchandise using the HP CB436A toner. Some of the film posters were quite big and colour rich – so these cartridges are excellent for pixel quality.

Adele New album Record â25â Sales Review
Adele’s new album ’25’ set to smash records sales after its release this week. After the initial first few days the sales for the US alone have been 2.3 million â a staggering amount considering what other top selling artists are doing. The impact of digital era has obviously had a big impact on the music industry, sales only a fraction of what they were previously. But Adele is breaking the trend in spectacular fashion.
The first single ‘Hello’ has sold 2.5 million thus far and the demand is so high for the new album that experts in the music industry have been amazed at the first week sales leading to various record sale predictions. iTunes accounts for a high percentage of the sales with 900,000 copies of the new album sold in the first week. Adeleâs first record ’21’ was only available in hard disc meaning fans could not buy it on iTunes. Adele’s fan base is so big and widespread, that younger fans will be able to download the album â so the sale figures will be much different to the first record.
UK sales have also rocketed selling 300,000 on the first day and making number one in over 103 countries through the world. All the signs suggest one of the highest selling albums ever challenging Micheal Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ and indeed Adeleâs first Record ’21’.
Despite these incredible sales reviews for the new album have been mixed, some critics suggesting that the with exception of a few songs the new release is very much similar to the first album â thus lacking creativity and excitement. Each song sounding the same and becoming quite dull when listening to the album in full. Adeleâs first record was very much a journey full of twists and turns with highs and lows, expressing her struggles and achievements with life through her early years. The new album is quite the opposite becoming quite predictable in sound and lyrics, with a heavy reliance on Adele’s powerful voice to light up every song. The big sounds and voices does become repetitive, just waiting for a song like ‘Someone Like You’ to arrive â but of course it just never does.
However disappointing the new record is â it is still worth the listen and is good comparing with other releases this year. Adele’s voice is one in a million and is worth buying just for this alone. But ‘good’ is not what we were hoping for. Maybe next time.
If you are buying Adele’s new album ’25’ you can get the album cover leaflet online with all the songs and lyrics – print the cover with LC1280xl ink cartridges for the right specification.

U2 at their Brilliant Best
U2 returned to Ireland in style putting on a fantastic show in Belfast. Despite notching up many gigs, in Ireland, they still manage to keep it fresh, cool and certainly innovative. Reminiscence of the Zooropa in the nineties you will not take your eyes off this for a second. If you do you are guaranteed to miss something spectacular.
Probably the band’s best tour yet U2 combine the basics of rock n roll with modern 3D technology producing a memorable event. Opening the gig with the four band members, drums, guitars and vocals. Bono introduced his band with a back to basics feel banging out some of the earliest rock tunes U2 wrote. A nice touch of nostalgia remembering what a good old rock gig is like. However this did not last too long, and not that we were complaining – the crowd in Belfast well warmed up at this stage.
Songs from the new album Songs of Innocence began with what can only be described as a gigantic 3D video screen taking us back to the Bands childhood growing up in Dublin. Video clips from Bono’s youth and his mother Iris along with cartoon visualisations of their home and street. The band’s live performance is mixed into video graphics to deliver an incredible 3D impression – a must see for even non U2 fans. Themes from the Troubles were explored with animated images and slogans. The crowd trying to take all in, it was action packed between the music, graphics and the show.
The stage then moved out into the middle of the arena. The Edges guitar rocking out She Moves in Mysterious Ways. Bono invited a Girl on stage to dance and the Show was well and truly hitting the heights. An acoustic version of the Sweetest Thing before the band played classics like Street Have No Names, Pride and With Or Without You.
U2 encored with a City Of Blinding Lights and finished with everyone’s favourite One, although Bono did not have sung – the crowd kindly sang it for him.
If you have tickets for Dublin’s Three Arena enjoy the show, and if you do not have tickets I suggest you beg, borrow or steal to get them. We managed to capture great quality images of the night printed using LC1240 ink â so keep this in mind if you’re going to the Three Arena this weekend.

The Web Summit in Dublin 2015
The Web Summit kick off this week in Dublin for the last time before it moves to Lisbon, Portugal for 2016. A staggering 20,000 people are attending the event from over 200 countries hoping to get a glimpse of the next big thing in the internet world. Top speakers from major players such as Google, Facebook and Dell are headlining the event as well as a rare appearance from phone dating APP Tinder chief executive.
Web Summit founder Paddy Cosgrave has been busy all week hosting the event but there has been a lot speculation on next’s year event. Cosgrave has been unhappy with governments help or lack of help in organising the yearly event. Certain external factors have made the event increasingly difficult to managed. Local hospitality businesses like hotels and restaurants have been hiking prices for the event, making it harder to facilitate guests, businesses and visitors. Local issues such as transport and parking space is restricted and warehouse space is limited as the event continues to grow each year. This has held back the event to a certain extent meaning The Web Summit has out grown the venue and its locality.
Government initiative to help ease these issues would have been welcome but this did not happen, thus causing the friction and animosity with event organisers who are now moving it to Portugal for the 3 years.
Speaking at the closing down ceremony on Thursday Paddy Cosgrave has expressed sadness at leaving Dublin, the event was born in Dublin enjoying so much growth and success. Although the event is moving the company itself will remain in Dublin and continue to be Irish. Paddy is keen to once bring the event back to Dublin one day if the right conditions exist.
So Lisbon 2016 will further globalise the event. This maybe be a regular practise of visiting different parts of the globe, increasing the appeal and reinforcing the global network potential of the Web Summit. From the cold wintery temperatures in Dublin to the hot sandy beaches in Portugal the event will definitely have a very different feel in 2016. The Portuguese prime minister made a flying visit today to express his excitement and ensuring the continue success in 2016.

James Bond Film Spectre takes Over 40 million first week
Daniel Craig’s new James Bond film has lived up to its billing with a blockbusting opening week in UK cinemas and indeed globally. Great reviews for Spectre have send the box office takings go wild, cinema goers flocking in their thousands to see the latest Bond film. 40 million taking in UK cinemas and 52 million globally which smashes the previous record held by Harry Potter’s last release.
The showpiece did cost a small fortune of 200 million to make, so producers may still have some sleepless nights before surpassing that figure ensuring the production was a success. Filming led Daniel Craig and the crew around the globe, shooting in the most glamorous cosmopolitan cities, in the most expensive hotels and driving seriously hot cars. And you know the drill, after James Bond is finished smashing up his toy sports cars, you can only imagine the size of the bill. How about 24 million for the cars alone…so maybe 200 million total does not sound too bad.
24th Bond film is definitely worth seeing, action packed, thrilling and exciting. Everything one expects from a Bond film, non stop action, beautiful women and glamorous locations and also a fresh dimension. This is Daniel’s 4th stint in the role and speculation is growing on the next James Bond. Craig has hinted that he will not do a 5th film feeling the need to move away from the role as it had become all too consuming. But his stance has lighten recently with the launch of the new film Spectre. The hype and hysteria has rejuvenated his love for the role has made a 5th film a real possibility.
Until we have confirmation the speculation will continue, Colin Farrell has been strongly link with the role. And who could argue with Farrell featuring in many action packed thrillers that demonstrate his suitability for the role. Colin acted a towering role in Phone Booth with display his incredible talent, roles in the blockbuster Minority Report and Miami Vice reinforce Farrell’s ability to handle the big hollywood roles. However the competition is fierce with many other names been mentioned. Homeland actor Damian Lewis is many people’s favourite but names like Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, Tom Hiddleston and even Colin Firth are in the running.
To read all the reviews on the new James Bond you can print them out using the T1811 ink which can be used with many printers. Enjoy the film and prepare yourself for nonstop action.
