HP LaserJet P2055 Toner Ink
Toner ink cartridges are freely available to buy online for the HP LaserJet P2055. This mono printer uses a black toner cartridge that comes in two sizes. The original HP CE505A toner ink cartridges has the capacity to print 2300 pages at approximately 5% coverage which the original HP high capacity CE505X toner cartridge can print up to 7000 pages @ 5% coverage.
This printer is ideal for heavy-duty use either at home or in the office or in a small workgroup. The HP toner ink helps it to perform well, producing fast, high quality prints and it is reasonably good on paper handling. There are other printers that are equally as good and perhaps cost less than this one but tests have shown the printer and ink and toner make it a good buy. Where the HP 505A and HP 505X toner ink truly comes into is own, is when you choose to use the remanufactured ink and toner cartridges.
The CE505A original toner ink cartridge will give a generous 2300 pages of printing but the remanufactured toner ink will give you an extra 10% in page printing an at 50% per cent of the cost of the original toner cartridge. The CE505X original toner ink will give you round 7000 pages, again you can get up to an extra 10% volume with a 50% saving when using a remanufactured ink toner cartridge. Bigger savings again can be made if you purchase a 2 pack of toner ink in either the CE505A or the CE505X.
The speed of this printer is certainly one of its best features. HP rate this printer as being able to produce 35 pages per minutes and the printer certainly lives up to it’s rating in many independent tests. This above average performance in speed of print outs coupled with the great value remanufactured ink and toner available makes it a great asset to any home user, small office or micro-business. In fact, this printer tied for first place with Lexmark E260dn which until recently was the fastest monochrome laser toner printer available.
The graphics and photo resolution using the remanufactured CE505A ink toner and CE505X toner ink is good enough for internal business use. This makes it a good buy for any small office or school that requires a lot of internal printing; giving good results with affordable ink and toner. The high setting on the print resolution is best avoided as the results are not good and tend to give ‘banding’. This is not such much a fault of the CE505A or CE505X toner ink but of the capability of the printer to produce high-resolution results.
There is a lot to consider when choosing a printer, if the specs are reasonably good and the reviews are favourable, surely the most important feature must be the affordability of the ink and toner. In this case toner ink for the HP LaserJet P2055 certainly proves good value for money when running at 50% of the cost of original toner ink.

Ink Cartridges for a Canon iP1600
The Canon ip1600 ink cartridges revolutionized the way we saw affordable printing with its black and colour ink cartridges. The black ink cartridge is the canon PG 40 ink cartridge with a volume level of 16ml of ink. The remanufactured canon ink cartridges hold 26ml of black ink; containing almost 50% more ink! The remanufactured ink cartridge is by far the best value for the printer when it is coupled with the cheap purchase price of the printer. The original colour ink cartridge CL41 from Canon has a volume level of 12ml of ink; however, the remanufactured Canon CL41 ink cartridge holds 24ml of ink, which is 100% more than the OEM.
The canon printer was originally sold for approximately ÂŁ36.99, and came fitted with a CL41 colour ink cartridge and a PG40 black ink cartridge. The combined complimentary value of the original Canon cartridges was approximately ÂŁ35.00, which meant you were really getting the printer for ÂŁ1.99. It was, in fact, considered at the time to be the worldsâ first disposable printer. The truth of the matter is that if you combined this great value printer with the remanufactured canon ink cartridges with their high capacity ink cartridge volumes you were on to a winner.
Despite searching on-line recently for the Canon ip1600 it doesnât seem to be readily available to buy, the ink cartridges however are freely available at great prices especially if you buy a bundle or multipack deal. Consider buying a multipack deal of a black PG40 ink cartridge along with a CL41 colour ink cartridge and you will immediately save some money. The bigger savings happen when you buy 2 black PG40 ink cartridges and one colour CL41 ink cartridge (the reasoning behind this is that you will use more black ink than colour). For the heavy user maybe at home or in the office, consider going for a multipack deal such as a 5-pack deal; 3 x black PG40 ink cartridges and 2 colour CL41 ink cartridges. This would be particularly beneficial to a school or organization that produce a lot of information packs that include colour images in their print outs.
The colour and black ink cartridges produce more than adequate results for schoolwork or for printing at home than you may use in the office for internal distribution. The advantage when buying the remanufactured ink cartridges for a Canon ip1600 is the good availability of the cartridges without worrying about the cost. As good as the ink cartridges are for this printer, some tests show that the standard of the colour print fell below what you would expect to be good enough to pass to an important client of yours. Printing photos using the canon ip1600 ink cartridges earned it a very good score with a very good true photo quality for most images printed on photographic paper. The printing speed of the photos using remanufactured black PG40 ink cartridges and colour CL41 ink cartridges was surprisingly good. While it wonât win any awards for its speeds it would certainly be among the most impressive for the cost of the printer.

HP Laserjet CP3525 Ink and Toner
This colour laser printer is ideal for the small business or workgroup, producing reliable good quality print at a very good output speed. It is, actually, a colour laserjet printer using black and colour toner ink and takes four ink toner cartridges. The black cartridge is a CE250A toner or CE250X toner. The CE250A toner ink cartridge is the standard output toner cartridge for this printer and has a toner ink capacity of approximately 2500 pages. The remanufactured CE250A Toner will give about 10% more than this as it is refilled to the full capacity of the cartridge. The CE250X toner ink cartridge has the capacity to print up to 5750 pages @ 5% coverage. The remanufactured colour ink and toner cartridges will produce up to 7000 pages of print @ 5% coverage. These cartridges are the Cyan CE251A toner ink, the Magenta CE253A toner ink and the Yellow CE252A toner ink.
The HP laserjet CP3525 is a big printer and weights in at over 30kg. It will need the space and support of a strong table, so a standard office desk would not have enough room to accommodate it. With the printers ability to produce large runs of printing, it is a viable option to go for remanufactured toner and ink cartridges. Many good quality remanufactured toner ink supplies are available online and there are great savings to be made using these toners.
The printers design tends to make it more like a photocopier than a printer, it has a 250 page paper tray which is in a landscape position â feeding from the right hand side of the tray and then out from right to left on to the top of the printer. There is a 100 sheet multipurpose tray that will fold down from the right hand side of the printer and if required, there is an option to add a 500 sheet paper tray. The CE250X toner ink will be the cartridge that is replaced the most frequent in a buy office. When using remanufactured toner ink there can sometimes be issues with ink and toner recognition by the printer. If the printer has problems recognizing the toner cartridge it may be necessary to remove the toner ink cartridge for the printer, wipe the âchipâ – the copper plate on the cartridge that stores the information â with a soft cloth, and return the cartridge into position and re-try. Ink and Toner for the Laserjet CP3525 printer will be the biggest outlay for the business after the initial purchase and for that reason alone, remanufactured toner ink should be considered.
Replacing the toner ink cartridges is a simple procedure, you just pull down the front panel and the four integrated drum and toner cartridges are fitted into the printer making them easy to remove and replace. The waste toner bottle can also be accessed and replaced form here too. The printer fuser is accessible from the right hand side but it unlikely that you will need to replace this during the life of the printer.

Ink Cartridges for an Epson Stylus Colour SX200
The Epson Stylus Colour SX200 is a multifunctional Epson printer that is well priced in the current printer market for the home and small business user. The Epson T0711 black ink cartridge is the ‘work-horse’ ink cartridge for this printer and will be replaced more frequently than any of the other colours. There are several good brands of compatible ink cartridges on the market that will work well with this printer. At a price tag of less than ÂŁ80, this printer is good value for money and the savings you can make using a compatible ink cartridge can make the savings even greater.
The Epson Stylus SX200 does not have the high-end features of its more expensive SX400 and so does not have a colour LCD screen but the selection of operational buttons make the printer surprisingly easy to use. Ink cartridges for the Epson Stylus Colour SX200 are available to buy singly or as a multipack. The multipack will offer all four colours but you will only need to insert one ink cartridge at a time, for example if you run out of the Cyan T0712 ink cartridge you can replace it on its own without having to replace all four colours at the same time.
This printer is not the fastest of printers on the market from Epson. The text printed using compatible ink cartridges can be printed at approximately 13 pages per minute as an average, however if you run at this rate the quality may not be as good as you would prefer. It may be necessary to run the printer at a slower 4 pages per minute to get the best results. At under ÂŁ80 the Stylus Colour SX200 ink cartridges will give excellent colour print results at a slower speed of 3 pages per minute with equally impressive results when using photo colour paper.
The colour ink cartridges used with this printer are the T0712 Cyan ink cartridge; with a capacity of 13ml of ink. The T0713 Magenta ink cartridge has an ink volume of 13ml and the T0714 Yellow ink cartridge has the same ink volume of 13ml. The compatible inkjet cartridges are by far the best buy for this printer and offer the least resistance when it comes to the ink cartridge being recognised. If there are any issues with the ink cartridge being recognized it can be remedied by a simple procedure. Firstly remove the USB cable from your printer â this is to break the link from the printer to the computer, then try reconnecting and see if this solves the problem. If not, secondly, switch the printer off and disconnect the USB lead and leave for 10 minutes, switch back on and reconnect the USB and see if this works. Compatible Ink Cartridges for the Epson Stylus Colour SX200 are such good value that it is worth persevering with any issues that arise with ink cartridge recognition.

HP Laserjet M1120 MFP Toner Ink
The HP LaserJet M1120 MFP is a black and white laser all-in-one printer and is designed for the home and small business user. The printer uses the HP CB436A toner cartridge, otherwise known as the HP 36A and is available as an original toner ink cartridge or as remanufactured toner ink.
The all-in-one printers have by far out-shone the sales of single function printers in the inkjet cartridge market but have been slower to make an impact in the laser printer market. HP began to address this issue and for those of us used to working with small and compact inkjet based all-in-one printers, the LaserJet M1120 MFP is physically a lot bigger. The laser mechanics in the lower section of the printer means it takes up quite a bit more room than an inkjet by comparison, but the printer has a stable look about it with its grey columns down either side. The versatile and easily obtained HP CB436A ink and toner is widely available locally and on-line. The toner ink output of the toner cartridge is approximately 2000 pages at 5% coverage.
The large 250 page paper tray also has a 10 sheet multipurpose tray. HP refers to this as a priority tray and this is positioned above the standard paper tray. This can be a useful as you may quite often need to load more than one sheet of a particular weight or paper finish at one time. The paper feeds out to what can be described as a balcony that projects from about half way up the laser printer.âš This printer is extremely good at operating in an office where there are a lot of mono reports required and the remanufactured HP 36A toner cartridge certainly can prove good value for money. Above the output tray is the flatbed scanner section and this hinges upwards – allowing access to the laser toner ink and the drum cartridge. The scanner is supported by spring hinges, so it will stay in place when it is open without danger of falling shut.âš On top of the printer is an LCD display â without backlight – and a set of eight buttons which, though a little old fashioned, are enough to control the printer functions. No indicator as far as we can tell, to inform you of toner and ink levels. At the back of the printer, the only connection is a USB 2 socket and unfortunately there are no internal options for a network interface.
However, there is a network version of this machine available at a cost of about £20 more. There are many single and two pack offers on the CB 436A ink and toner for this printer available on-line. Many of these offers also include free delivery and same day dispatch. The all-in-one laser printer is an attractive option when buying the printer because of the extra features such as the scanner but it is important to check the cost of running the printer ink with toner ink as this will be one of the biggest outlays that you will have to make. The HP Laserjet M1120 MFP will generally accept the remanufactured HP 36A toner without any issues, however, from time to time it may be necessary to remove the toner ink cartridge from the printer to clean the contacts with a soft cloth to remove any static and help the printer recognise the laser print toner cartridge.

Canon Pixma ip1300 Ink Cartridges
We like the Canon Pixma ip1300 printer because first of all it’s very easy to connect to your computer! You can plug in the cable, turn it on, locate the name of the printer in the setup section and you’re ready to go! That is Canon keeping it simple! The Canon Pixma ip1300 ink cartridges are available as both original and compatible ink cartridges. The standard ink cartridges for the Canon ip1300 are the Canon PG 40 black ink and this original manufactured cartridge will hold 16ml of black ink. The colour cartridge is the original canon CL 41 ink cartridge and this has a volume of 12ml. Both of these ink cartridges come in the XL range, i.e. the high capacity versions; Canon PG40XL and Canon CL 41XL. We tend to favour the better value for money compatible or remanufactured ink cartridges; the black compatible Canon PG 40 has 26ml of black ink inside which is almost 50% more than the original! The remanufactured Canon CL 41 colour ink cartridge has 24ml of colour ink inside and that’s almost 100% more than the original ink cartridge!.
We particularly like the basic design of this printer which is very easy to learn to use. The printer is gray in colour and that helps make it look professional, neat and clean even if we don’t clean it that often! The section that holds the paper is very well designed because it doesn’t accumulate dirt and therefore we don’t need to use a cover to keep out the dust. Also, the simplicity in which you can change the ink cartridge is very useful. The remanufactured or compatible PG 40 ink cartridge goes to the ink station automatically when you open the cover change or refill it. There are two locations for the ink where you can insert the black and colour ink. The space for the remanufactured or compatible Canon CL 41 ink cartridge is marked by the letter C and the space for the remanufactured or compatible Canon CL 41 ink cartridge is marked by the letter C. This really makes it easy for the user change the ink cartridge with the minimum of effort.
There is a set of twin buttons located on the printer which are very easy to understand. The first button is a simple on off switch and the second is the button to correct any errors there may be with paper feed etc. There are also two light buttons that will blink if the printer is out of paper. The printer is quite big in terms of width and therefore will take up more space on a table. Another negative side to the printer is there is not paper collection feature so you need to leave plenty of room at the bottom of the printer to allow for the paper to fall out.

Toner Ink for HP Laserjet P1005
For some time HP and Brother have been in competition as to which of them can supply the best budget black and white laser printer since the first production of the first mono laser printers. Equally as important, was the price of the HP P1005 cartridge as HP’s faced stiff competition from the Brother HL2040 cartridge. The HP P1005 printer uses the CB435A toner ink with approximately 2000 pages of print at 5% coverage. This printer is ideal for use in the office where documents and reports are printed on a daily basis. The Brother HL2040 is also an excellent printer positioned in the same category of printers and uses the Brother TN2000 cartridge.
Up to now Brother has been the reigning champion. With the new HP P1005 toner, however, HP attempted to claim the crown from Brother. However, with the Brother printer actually producing faster print times and more effective savings on consumable costs, HP’s efforts have still some way to go. As always, simplicity is the key factor in mono laser printers, and the HP P1005 certainly succeeds with this. The toner and ink output for both machines can be improved by considering using compatible or remanufactured toner ink. The HP printer’s carbon footprint is small even for that of a mono laser printer, and it is compact enough to fit in a cramped space. However, there is a downside in that the Brother printer has a capacity to hold 250 pages in a closable paper tray, the HP P1005 will only store up to 150 pages in a tray that must remain open during use.
The connection on the HP 1005 is limited to USB 2.0. Users would have liked an Ethernet connection enabling home and small office networking, and the printer’s initial pricing most certainly justifies this inclusion. The HP Laser Toner replacement is very simple, it follows the same method as Canon Lasershot, just lift up the paper output tray and insert the CB435A toner. The HP P1005 toner will run at an average 6p per page, just slightly more expensive than the 4.8p per page managed by the Brother TN2000 Toner but still cost effective.
Speed is this printer’s biggest downfall. The HP P1005 cartridge prints approximately 15 pages per minute at its fastest. There is no draft 300dpi mode as found in many other laser printers. The speed is suitable for 600dpi printing, but the printer simply doesn’t cater for those occasions when speed takes priority over quality. When printing at 1200dpi, the HP CB435A toner ink doesn’t slow too much more; it averages approximately 12 pages per minute at this setting. These speeds, while unrivalled by any inkjet printers of the same value, are easily surpassed by Brother’s printers.
The HP P1005 toner ink does provide excellent quality text. Text is clean and sharp, although it is bolder when compared to the HL2140 TN2000 Toner. This can make text slightly fuzzier in dense or heavy documents. It may be preferable to use the Brother HL2140 for better print quality, but both are more than adequate for everyday use.

The canon Pixma ip6000Dâs versatility is matched by its vastly superior quality; it can achieve a resolution of up to 4,800 x 1,200 color dpi. The Canon Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering, also known as FINE, uses high-performance nozzle print heads that eject consistent, managed volume ink droplets as small as 2 picoliters from the canon ink cartridge. The results of this are faster printing and impressive detail on all your photos. This includes any borderless prints up to 8.5 by 11 inches. Imagine a 6×4 borderless print that looks as good as a photo from a processing lab in just seconds. Continuously printing photos will of course use a lot of ink so it is vital that you can rely on a good quality compatible canon ink cartridge to help keep the cost down. The large compatible canon BCI6BK black cartridge with 16ml of black ink will certainly go a long way towards helping with this.
