Compatible Epson 16XL ink cartridge prints for less than one cent per page in an Epson Workforce WF-2530WF
The high capacity compatible 16XL black ink cartridge is now available online with a price busting 500 pages for as little as less than one cent per page @ 5% coverage. This incredible value for the compatible version of the Epson cartridge is estimated to drive sales through the roof in the UK and Ireland. The 16XL comes in four ink colours, black, cyan, magenta and yellow. The black ink cartridge can print up to 500 pages with the colours each printing up to 450 pages @ 5% coverage. 5% coverage generally represents a page of text with double line spacing; if images or graphics are printed then the number of pages will be less.
High quality compatible Epson 16XL ink cartridges are manufactured by third-party suppliers and sold online in Ireland and the UK. These suppliers strive to match the ISO standards of the original brand cartridges, giving reliability to the end user. A typical printer using the 16XL ink such as the Epson WorkForce WF-2530WF is ideal for the home user or small office. This printer is a 4-in-1 with ADF and features Epson Connect and is also Wi-Fi enabled.
The LCD screen on this printer is nothing fancy – black and white as opposed to some of the colour screens on other models. All function buttons are clearly labelled. Itās also possible to have this printer on your wireless network without connecting it to a computer thanks to the Wi-Fi set up function. The 16XL ink cartridges are replaced individually as and when they run out so keeps the cost down for the user, although if you are using the compatible version that shouldnāt be an issue. The single loading paper tray on this printer will accept up to 100 A4 pages and the printer has a built scanner that adds to itās versatility. The scanner is not particularly fast but gives good contrast in the detail of a scan and the Page Manager assists you in archiving any scanned documents.
With a set of 20 replacement compatible 16XL ink cartridges costing only ā¬24.59, the cost per cartridge comes at ā¬1.22! The Epson WorkForce WF-2530WF printer together with the compatible version of the 16XL ink cartridges makes printing an affordable exercise both at home and in the office. All good quality compatible ink cartridges should come with a money-back guarantee, as standard meaning there is no risk for the user.

My Printer will not Recognise my Canon Compatible Ink Cartridges
Sometimes when we insert a compatible, remanufactured or non-original ink cartridge into a Canon printer, the printer may not recognise the ink cartridge or the ink volume levels of the cartridge. Typical error messages include:
1. ānon-original cartridge detectedā
2. ānon-original Canon cartridge detectedā
3. āink running lowā
4. ālow inkā
Any of the above messages will prevent you from printing.
Below is a quick guide on how to overcome this issue followed by more helpful information:
Error messages and easy Quick Fix:
Ink Cartridge Not Recognised:
Ink is running low:
Ink has run out:
Quick Fix:
Press and hold the printerās Stop / Reset button for at least 7 seconds to clear error message.
The first thing you can do is remove the cartridge and try re-installing it to see if the printer will recognise it, if it will still not recognise the cartridge then simply hold down the stop button (this is the button with the triangle inside a circle) for a minimum of 7 seconds. This will disable the printerās cartridge recognition facility and you should be able to print happily without any further interruption. It may be that the ink volume will not display after you have done this (although sometimes it will continue to do so) but that is a minor inconvenience when you weigh up the savings on the cost of the compatible Canon ink cartridges. If the printer says the cartridge is damaged or will still not recognise the cartridge then remove the cartridge and gently wipe the copper area or the cartridge with a dry soft cloth (the area known as the āchipā) to remove any static that may have accumulated on it and re-insert to see if it will solve the problem.
The vast majority of the compatible Canon ink cartridges will work first time but on occasion you might have to try a bit of trouble-shooting to get it going. Itās also possible that the ink cartridge may be faulty so if you have tried all of the above suggestions and have a second cartridge then it would be time to try that. If you donāt have a second cartridge then contact your supplier to see if a replacement cartridge can be issued but make sure you make a note of the error messages that are coming up on the printer each time you insert the ink cartridges as this will help them identify what the problem is. If you are covered by a money-back guarantee then you will have no problem and you will find that the supplier will do all they can to resolve the issue for you but will refund the money to you (after the return of the faulty cartridge) if they run out of options.
All good online ink cartridge suppliers will do all they can to help and usually will resolve the situation and you will be happily printing with Canon compatible ink cartridges that didnāt cost the earth!
Not all Canon ink cartridges will give an error message when installed in a printer but it is more likely to occur in remanufactured ink cartridges. A remanufactured ink cartridge is a cartridge that was once an original Canon cartridge that has been factory cleaned, repaired if necessary, refilled and had its ‘chip reset’ and re-packaged. The cartridge ‘chip’ is located in the actual cartridge and not the printer which makes the empty cartridge valuable for recycling or remanufacture. The remanufactured
Canon PG540XL black and CL541XL colour ink and the remanufactured Canon PG545XL and CL546XL ink are these such cartridges and may sometimes show the error message ‘low ink’, ‘ink has run out’ or ‘ink cartridge cannot be recognised’. This is because the printer is having difficulty reading the information on the reset ‘chip’ and needs a helping hand by the user resetting the printer by holding down the stop button for approximately 8 seconds as described above.
There are also Canon compatible cartridges that are direct copies of the original genuine Canon inks and are different from the remanufactured cartridges in that the ‘chip’ is lcoated in the printer and not the cartridge. Compatible Canon inks such as PGI550XL / CLI551XL and PGI570XL / CLI571XL are made by third party manufacturers with no connection to Canon but who have the sole objective of producing a cartridge that is a lot cheaper than the original Canon ink but at the same time maintains the quality. These compatible inks are sets of 5 and 6 inks (some printers use an additional grey colour cartridge), the idea being that they are branded as photo printers and produce high quality prints on photo paper as opposed to the printing of general purpose everyday A4 plain paper printing.

How to Save Money with the Best Value Compatible Ink Cartridges in Dublin
As 2016 kicks in and our thoughts turn on how to save money, one of the forgotten household bills is that of printer ink in Dublin. Many homes across Ireland spend a huge amount on printer ink in Dublin during a typical year, the bigger the household with school going children the bigger the bill for ink. Most families now have two printers on the go with one not being sufficient to satisfy the needs of those at secondary and grammar schools with the printing of projects and assignments. The first port of call for many people for their ink cartridges in Dublin is the local stationery or ink shop and of course you can expect to pay premium prices for your ink there. With Dublin ink prices being what they are you can expect to pay as much as ā¬60 for a set of original brand printer ink! Itās scandalous of course, considering that this may be more than you paid originally for the printer.
The key to buying the best value printer is to do your research first with regard to the running costs of the printer. This is essentially the cost of the printer ink in Dublin for your printer. Before you make the purchase find out if the printer will accept a compatible version of the printer ink cartridge as this can be where there are massive savings on ink cartridges to be made. Indeed itās possible to buy some high quality compatible ink cartridges online for as little as ā¬1 each!
There are some brands of printers that are more willing to accept the compatible cartridges than others. For example, it is our experience that Epson, Brother and Canon printers accept the non-original version of the cartridge a lot more readily than HP. Epson are particularly good value and with the ‘small in one’ printer range – printer/copier/scanner – these printers are great value to buy at under ā¬100 and are cheap to run. They are ideal for the home user and the ink cartridges are broken down into four or six cartridge colours. The big advantage with this is the ability to replace a single cartridge at any one time and not have to replace a whole set.
Once you have done your research and bought your printer, where to buy your cartridges is the next important key in the running costs of the printer. Online shopping for your cartridges is by far the best way to find the good value high quality ink cartridges in Dublin as most Irish online suppliers offer low cost delivery within 1 or 2 days to home or the office.

I Need to Replace my Printer but Which Printer should I Choose?
Replacing your printer can be as small or as large, any investment as you like. But, ultimately it should depend on what you need your printer to print and how much it will cost to run. The cost of running the printer means obviously the cost of the inkjet cartridges and typically how much per sheet it will cost. Firstly if you are a home user, that is to say a family with several school-attending children using the printer then the printer is in for a lot of use. Because the printer will be used to print out colour as well as black and white images then a colour inkjet printer will be sufficient. You would do well to pick an all-in-one printer that has additional features as well as being a printer/copier/scanner such as wifi or cloud-print. In fairness, most printers come wifi enabled these days but many people still prefer to connect them via the USB cable. The print speed of these printers is not that fast but considering the option is a high-speed laser toner printer, the cost would not warrant stepping up in cost for the average family.
The running costs of the printer have to be the next and some will say the most important consideration. If the cost of replacing the ink cartridge is going to cost as much as you paid for the printer, which is highly likely given the low cost of some printers on offer on the high street, then itās time to think again. First of all check if this wonderfully inexpensive printer will accept a non-genuine brand ink cartridge, i.e. a compatible cartridge, if so what is the cost? If you can find an affordable set of compatible ink cartridges for the printer then you have hit the jackpot, but beware, not all new printers will accept the compatibles and some are so new that there is not yet a compatible cartridge available for them yet. The compatible ink cartridges are manufactured by a third-party manufacturer who has been careful enough to replicate the original brand ink cartridge without infringing on the copyright of it.
The quality of the print out from a printer using compatible ink cartridges as opposed to the genuine brand is not noticeable for general-purpose everyday printing. The only time when we think it may be an issue if you are trying to reproduce photo-quality prints that you may wish to sell or keep for many years and are concerned that the print may fade. All in all, the compatible ink cartridge should be a big consideration when purchasing your new printer and any good seller or ink especially online will give you free advice so donāt be afraid to pick up the phone and ask for help.

As we begin 2016 many printer businesses and home users are trying to find the best value ink cartridges for their printer in an effort to cut down on spending in the year ahead. Searching online is a good way to start looking for your replacement ink with all the top online suppliers offering low cost delivery to Cork with great prices and discount incentives to become a repeat customer. The quality of the compatible ink cartridges has improved during the last few years as the third-party manufacturers have increasingly made matching original brand cartridges ISO standard their goal.

There are many great deals online for Epson printers in particular with some cartridges costing as little as ā¬1 each! These cartridges are high quality compatibles and are not available at this price in any ink shop in Cork.
Installing the compatible ink is the simple and easy to do. You replace the ink cartridge when prompted by the printer as you would normally. Itās likely that you will receive a message to inform you that the printer has detected a non-Epson cartridge but just click OK and proceed to print. The compatible cartridges are ideal for every day general-purpose printing and will save a ton of money for home and business users alike.

What is the Best Printer to Buy this Year in the Pre-Christmas Sales?
Itās rumoured that one of the most popular Christmas gifts this year for students is a new printer to facilitate the printing of their assignments and boarding passes for their well earn half-term trips! On a serious note, the home printer is a practical Christmas gift for any household, and one that is becoming more and more common.
If we are choosing a printer as a gift there are several factors to consider. Firstly, the printer will need to suit the needs of the user, if itās a home user then the printer will probably need to be colour and be able to print, scan and copy. The print speed of this printer may not be that important, but, the cost of the ink cartridges certainly will. In fact, one of the most important factors when considering buying a printer as a gift is, the running cost for the person who receives the printer. It might be OK to buy a bargain printer for a friend or loved one, but, if the running costs are astronomical then any good intentions on the part of the buyer are soon lost.
There are a couple of good tips to consider before purchasing the printer, for example, how much will the replacement ink cartridges cost and more importantly, will the printer accept compatible ink cartridges? This information will be available from any good ink seller and is very important, as some printers are more prone to rejecting compatible ink cartridges than others. What are the best printers to consider this year?
Well, we think that if you consider buying the Epson Expression XP range then you wonāt go far wrong. This all-in-one range of printers is perfect for the home user or small office. They accept four individual ink cartridges, black, cyan, magenta and yellow and are all individually replaceable which makes it more cost effective than having to replace a full set of cartridges. The Epson printers are also known to be compatible ink friendly and do not give any real issues when it comes to accepting them.
Also, this time of the year lends itself to real bargains when it comes to printersā as the more popular Christmas gifts are more likely to be TVās or iPhones. Of course, Epson arenāt the only printers available but to give a more balanced view we also recommend Canon and Brother printers as good presents as they too will offer good value when used with compatible replacement cartridges. So, to give the perfect Christmas gift this year why not give a printer that has all the facilities that modern day life requires such as wireless printing and will be cost effective to run.
Good Advice on Buying Compatible Ink Cartridges in Dublin for my Brother, HP, Canon or Epson Inkjet Printer
Buying a new printer or replacing one, that has come to the end of its working life, can often make us rush to get the cheapest priced printer on offer. Either online or in the local high street store.
This is understandable, as necessity is the mother of invention, and we must have another printer to keep us going. Say, we fall behind in printing our Christmas holiday boarding passes! Itās so easy to pick up a low cost printer these days ā even while you are out shopping in Tescoās or Asda, low and behold there is a printer maybe for as little as ā¬30! Well, surely they must be selling them at that price to get rid of them as they obviously have too much stock! Just recently I spotted a small-in-one Canon printer in one such Dublin store for around ā¬35, not bad for a printer, scanner copier.
Of course, being in the industry my first thought was for the cost of replacing the ink cartridges and decided to do a little checking before making the purchase. It turns out that the cost of one set of inks was almost twice the cost of the printer!
The cost of original brand printer ink has gone beyond a joke from last couple of years with people begin āstungā for paying for ink after buying a printer at a knockdown price. The secret to getting the best value for your printer is to do some basic research before you purchase the printer. If you were buying a car you would check out the running costs and the road tax or insurance connected with that model of vehicle and buying a printer really is no difference. The fact that many households now have more than one printer adds to this theory as the running costs for a busy household with school children or indeed a busy small office are crucial to their budget.
Dublin ink prices have increased so much that many more people are making the switch to non-original cartridges in an effort to save as much as 70% when compared to the original brand printer cartridges. A reputable local or online Irish supplier will be able to advise you if firstly the printer you are buying will accept non-original cartridges and secondly if the compatible version gives you a big saving on your ink. Most printers will accept the compatible version of the cartridges but itās best to check if there are any known issues as the printer manufacturers are prone to offering downloads for your printer that have been known to give issues when using the non-original cartridges.
The best advice I can give you is to do some research before you panic buy that new printer and not get a bargain but enjoy low-cost printing for years to come.

How to Find the Lowest Priced Epson, Canon, Brother and HP Ink Cartridges in Cork
Original brand ink cartridges have now become so expensive that they are actually more expensive per ml than Chanel No. 5 or a good quality bottle of champagne. At least thatās according to a recent survey carried out in the UK by Watchdog and thereās no sign of the prices coming down either.
Itās common knowledge that the price of ink cartridges in Cork is already astronomical and becoming more unaffordable by the minute with Epson, Brother, Canon and HP original brand cartridges among the most costly. The advent of compatible ink cartridges in Cork has made a real difference to the cost of printing your own documents in some cases allowing savings of up 70%. Online shopping for ink is the way ahead and with plenty of good Irish suppliers offering next day delivery to Cork, there is no need to leave your home or office, just sit back and wait for your delivery. Itās unlikely that you be able to beat some of the online offers in the high street with many online suppliers offering low cost delivery and free ink cartridges to boot!
Many printers are now available to buy at reduced prices in the large stores locally as well as online. The trap many people fall into is that the cost of printer may be excessively low but the cost of the ink cartridges is very high. A simple piece of research on the printers that seem to be great value can prevent you from falling victim to this aggressive marketing by the big printer companies.
First of all, choose a couple of printers that take your fancy both for price and specification. Next check out the cost of the buying replacement original brand ink cartridges. The next part is the really clever bit, check that the printer will accept compatible ink cartridges without any real issues ā to do this ring up an online supplier and ask will they give you a money-back guarantee with the compatible cartridges they sell. They will usually be honest enough to inform you if there are any issues with the non-original cartridges for that printer ā lets face it, itās in their interest to be truthful. If there are any issues with compatible ink for that printer they may recommend one that gives no issues at all. Nine times out of ten you will find that the online sellers of non-original ink cartridges will give you honest truthful advice.
