Sometimes you might come across a toner cartridge that gives you trouble even after replacing it, the machine might not print at all. The Brother machines have very similar consumables for both toner cartridge and the drum unit. So, verify you only replace the toner cartridge, not the drum unit.
In such case follow below points to resolve and fix the issues:
- Open the front cover and gently pull out the drum unit.
- Hold down the lock lever on the right and pull the Brother MFC 8840D toner cartridges out of the drum unit.
- Unpack the toner cartridge and place the used toner cartridge into the aluminium bag and discard it according to manual regulations.
