How to replace HP Officejet 3830 All-in-one ink cartridge in the HP printer?
Before you replace the ink cartridge, make sure that the printer is turned on. Following are the steps to replace the ink cartridges in the HP printer:
- Close the output tray extender.
- Rotate the output tray in the clockwise direction to stow it in the printer.
- Open the printer’s front door and then open the cartridge access door. Wait for the print carriage to come towards the center of the printer.
- When the print carriage is in the center of the printer, press the HP Officejet 3830 All-in-one ink cartridge in the downward direction to release the ink cartridge. Then remove it from the slot.
- Take the new ink cartridges, and remove its packaging.
- Hold the ink cartridge and remove the plastic tape carefully, using the pull tab. When you remove the plastic tape from the ink cartridges, make sure that it is removed properly. Else, it can cause the print quality issue. Caution: Do not touch the electrical contact of the ink cartridges, during replacing or installing of ink cartridges.
- Slide the ink cartridge slowly into the slot, until you hear a gentle click sound. When the ink cartridge is at its position, close the cartridge access door. Further, close the front door of the printer properly.
- Pull down the tray extender and the output tray.
