1. Printer does not PrintCheck the following:
- The printer is turned on and all of the protective parts have been removed
- The Brother HL1050 toner cartridges and drum unit should be installed properly
- The interface cable should be securely connected between the printer and the computer
- Check if the alarm lamp is blinking. If it is blinking, refer to the operator call section of the manual
- Check to see if the ready lamp is blinking. If the lamp is blinking fast, the printer might be cooling down to lower the printer's internal temperature. Open the top cover of the printer to lower the temperature
- Take out the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly. Hold the assembly level with both the hands and gently shake it several times to evenly spread the toner inside the cartridges
- If the LEDs indicate Replace Toner(Continue mode), put in a new toner cartridges. For replacing the cartridges refer user manual
- Check the machine environmental conditions such as humidity, temperature, and so on, which might result in print fault
- If the page print is too light, toner save mode may be on. Turn off the toner save mode in advanced tab (For Windows) or Basic tab of print settings (For Macintosh) of the driver
