How to reset ink level after refilling HP DeskJet 2632 ink cartridge in HP printer?
Here are some steps to reset HP DeskJet 2632 ink cartridge for your printer:
- Insert the refilled cartridge into your HP printer.
- To recognise the cartridge, print an alignment page. The printer will read the ink level as where it was before refilling.
- Remove the installed cartridge from the printer and install new one. Let the HP printer print an alignment page so that it recognises the cartridge as different cartridge from the first one.
- Replace the second cartridge from the third one. After replacement, run the same alignment page.
- Since the printer only preserves the memory of two print cartridges, it will erase the memory of first (refilled) HP DeskJet 2632 ink cartridge.
- Install the refilled ink cartridge into your printer. The HP printer will now recognise the cartridge as being full.
- Strip over the contact squares on the top left corner of the cartridge contacts. Insert the cartridge into the printer and print an alignment page. Ignore any kind of message that might appear saying there is a problem with the cartridge.
- Take the cartridge out of the printer. From the left corner remove the tape and put the tape over the contact squares on the top right corner.
- Place the cartridge back in to its position and run another alignment page.
- Remove and reinsert the ink cartridge (make sure that there is no tape on any of the contacts). Check and see if the printer recognizes the cartridge as being full.
- If the cartridge is still shown as being empty, repeat the above steps. For this time, use the bottom corner contact squares instead of the top ones.
In case, If you are still unable to reset the cartridges, the only way to do it is using multiple HP DeskJet 2632 cartridges.
