How can I refill Epson EcoTank ET-14000 ink tank for my Epson printer?
To refill the ink tank, please consider the following instructions:
- Detach the Epson EcoTank ET-14000 ink unit from the printer and lay it down.
- Remove its cap once the ink tank unit cover is open. Make sure not to knock over any ink.
- Once its cap is removed, ensure that your ink tank colour matches the ink colour you want to refill.
- Take out top of the cap, remove the cap of ink bottle, separate the seal from ink bottle and install bottle cap again. To avoid the ink leakage, close the ink bottle cap tightly.
Note: Do not throw the top of the cap. In case, any ink remains in the bottle after refilling the tank, use the top of the cap to seal the bottle cap.
- Refill the tank with the correct coloured Epson EcoTank ET-14000 ink upto the upper line present on the ink.
- Close the cap in contact with the ink tank securely.
- Then, close the ink tank cover unit.
- Hook the ink tank unit back to the printer.
How to fix paper jams for Epson EcoTank ET-14000 printer?
To resolve the paper jam problem, follow these steps:
- Remove the wrinkles or curls from the paper, if any. It is recommended that the paper installed in your printer must be smooth.
- Replace the paper with good quality paper, if ink smears are spotted on the paper.
- Change the paper side, if the paper surface is not smooth.
- Refresh the paper stack before loading any paper.
- Make sure you have not loaded any paper above the line for plain paper.
- Remove extra pages from the input tray, if sheets are fed beyond its capacity.
- Make sure that the printer should be on a flat and stable surface that extends beyond the base in all the directions. The printer will not operate properly if it is in a tilted manner.
