When one is using faulty or defective HP LaserJet 3310 Digital Copier toner cartridges then it could affect the print quality of the printer and result in issues like gray backgrounds on pages, repetitive vertical defects, page skew problem etc. Such problems could be resolved by following these easy steps:
If receiving gray background- Make sure that the priority input tray is in place.
- Decrease the print density setting through HP LaserJet Device Configuration. This decreases the amount of background shading. Refer the product software Help.
- Change the media to a lighter basis weight. See Product media specifications for more information.
- Check the printer’s environment. Very dry (low humidity) conditions can increase the amount of background shading.
- Install a new HP LaserJet 3310 Digital Copier toner cartridges. See Installing a print cartridge for instructions.
