Check the toner level - Control Panel:

Step 1: Go to the setup menu from the home screen.

Check the toner level - Windows:

Step 1: Open the printer driver window.
Step 2: Click on the maintenance tab and choose the option Brother Status Monitor.

• Choose “No” to continue with the remaining black toner and not to use colour toner to conserve the blank.
• Select Disable this feature to currently disable the feature. The message will not be displayed until the black Brother HL5130 toner cartridges is replaced and runs low again.
