Getting poor prints from your Epson XP-215 printer?
Your printer might face some trouble in printing if your Epson XP-215 ink cartridges have not been recognised by the printer or are faulty. Because of that sometimes you may also get issues like poor print quality, blurry print, broken prints which are caused by clogged printhead nozzles. These issues are so common and could be solved easily by following these steps.
Note: you can stop the process at any step, if the prints start getting better.
Step one:Make sure your Epson XP-215 ink cartridges are not older than six months. If the cartridges are too old or haven’t been used since a long time then it might be possible that they have been dried out.
In that case, we recommend users to replace these Epson XP-215 ink cartridges with the newer ones and try making a test print.
Step Two:If not only the cartridges but also your printer was not used since a long time, it might be possible that the printhead nozzles of the printer have been blocked. This is not the only reason for a clogged printhead, sometimes the nozzles get blocked because of dirt in the printer. However, whatever, the reason behind the blocking of the printhead, it always end up in messing with the printouts.
To resolve the poor print issue you can go to the settings of your printer and run a print head cleanup. Test the print quality when the printer finishes the automatic cleanup. If you find an improvement then continue with this action until you get a satisfying result.
It is necessary that you run the cleanup for at least five times, then only you will start getting improved prints.
If you don’t find any improvement in the print quality, even after the five attempts, then it might be some technical issue with the printer. You can call the Epson support for an expert help and can fix your bugs.
