How to replace the HP Deskjet 2630 ink cartridge with a new one?
Consider the following steps for the replacement of HP ink cartridge:
- Make sure that the printer power is on and loaded with plain white paper.
- Hold the handles slightly on either side of the printer and raise the HP Deskjet 2630 ink cartridge access door upto the time it is locked into the door.
- The carriage will now move to the center of the printer. Before you proceed to the next step, wait until the carriage is idle and stops making noise.
- Lift the lid on the ink cartridge slot and push the lid back to release the already installed HP Deskjet 2630 ink cartridge.
- Remove the new cartridge from its original packaging. The black plastic on the ink cartridge should remain untouched.
- Also, don’t touch the ink nozzles while removing the plastic tape from the ink cartridge. Try to avoid replacing the protective tape on the contacts else handling these parts can result in bad electrical connections and ink failures.
- Insert the new ink cartridge. After insertion, slide the ink cartridge forward into the slot by holding them by its sides. After the ink cartridge insertion, secure them into the place by closing the lid.
- If required, install all the needed ink cartridges by repeating previous steps.
- Once you have installed the new HP Deskjet 2630 ink cartridge in your printer, the printer automatically prints an alignment page. Now close the ink cartridge access door.
- Wait until the alignment page is fully ejected. Once the printer is fully ejected from the printer, lift the scanner lid and place the alignment page (with the print side down on the scanner glass). Position them.
- Close the scanner top and press OK.
