How to deal when the LED keeps flashing even after installing the Brother HL2070 Toner Cartridges?

Follow the steps below to solve the problem if the Toner LED is still on or flashing or the status monitor continues to display the message Toner Low or Toner Life End after installing a toner cartridge.

• Make sure that you have installed the right consumables.
• Assure that you have replaced the toner cartridge only, not the drum unit.
• Check that you are using the new toner cartridge for resetting the toner status on the machine.
• Used cartridges or partially used cartridges may cause this problem.
• Assure that you are using Brother HL2070 Toner Cartridges, the non-brother cartridges may damage the drum unit or other parts of the machine.
• Verify that the toner cartridge is installed correctly.

Guidelines to install the toner cartridge correctly:

• Pull the right and left tabs of your cover towards you to open it.
• Lift the drum unit gently and pull it out and now place it on the dry cloth or dry surface.
• Push the blue lock lever downwards and lift the toner cartridge out from the drum unit.
• Now gently rock the toner cartridge from side to side another with both of your hands for 5 to 6 times. so that the toner is distributed evenly inside the cartridge.
• Place the toner cartridge into the drum unit until you hear the lock.
• Now clean the primary corona wire inside the drum unit by sliding the blue lock lever of the cartridge from left to right and repeat it several times.
• Place the blue lock lever on the home position before reinstalling the drum unit assembly in your Brother HL2070 Printer.
• Install the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly and close the front cover.
• Assure that you neither turn off the printer nor open the front cover for approximately 5 seconds just after you installed the Brother HL2070 Toner Cartridges.
