Refilling

Instructions for refilling HP CE310A Toner, HP CE311A Toner, HP CE312A Toner and HP CE313A Toner: The following instructions below will clearly show you how to refill HP toner cartridges:

• Take the toner cartridge and release the two screws of the side cover and take it off. Turn the cartridge and release the two other screws.
• Take off the side cover. Ensure the springs stick in the cover.
• When you remove the black cover you can see a white cover below with two gear wheels and one screw. Release the screw and take off the two gears.
• Now you can take off the cover.
• Now remove the black rubber roll. Release the two screws which fix the Doctor Blade. Take off this blade.
• Before refilling remove the old toner powder.
• Pour the powder into a leak proof plastic bag or exhaust it with an aspirator for toner powders. (The new and the old toner powder have diverse physical and chemical characteristics because of the frequent heating and cooling.)
• Take the toner bottle and screw a funnel on it.
• Fill the toner powder into the toner chamber. When you have refilled the toner powder put the other parts back into the right position.
• Reassemble the toner cartridge. Please remember that everything can be put back together smoothly and without any force.
• When you have the reassembled cartridge you just have to change the fill level chip.

Changing the fill level chip: The toner cartridge in this multipack is equipped with a one-time-chip which controls the toner filling level. The cartridge won't print when the chip is counted empty. Change it after each filling. Cut the guide rails and pull out the old chip. Put the new chip into the same position as the old one. If the new toner chip is loose then fix it with a piece of double-face tape. Your toner cartridge is now refilled and you can put it back into the printer. The first printouts can be of improper quality because the toner powder has to dispense first. Your printouts will be of expected quality.
