Refill Instructions for the Canon 571 Ink Multipack

The Canon 570 ink holds up to 20ml black refill ink. The Canon 571 ink holds 10ml ink.

1. Enter the required quantity of refill ink into a syringe and open the fill port on the cartridge. The rear ink tank does not take the full quantity, therefore it is necessary to fill step by step. Fill the rear tank up to 50% and allow the sponge in the main ink chamber soak from the rear tank. To speed up the process open the air port on the cartridge. Remove the tape from the upper side.
2. When the sponge is fully soaked add the remaining ink from the syringe into the Canon 570 ink cartridge using the fill port. When waiting for a cartridge to soak work on another cartridge to save time.
3. When the cartridge is full close the fill port using the silicon plug. Open the ink port by taking off the orange cap (recommended to do this a piece of paper towel).
4. Ensure the air port on each cartridge is open. Install the cartridges into the printer. Place the cartridges into their respective positions inside the print head compartment. The cartridges will be in position with a sound and when the position is right and contact has been made the cartridges LED starts shining red.
