Q. I do a lot of printing at home and i want the highest ink density cartridges. How much ink do the Compatible Epson T1295 hold?
A. The ink yields vary in the 4 cartridges. The black cartridge is generally used more and it holds 11.2ml, the three colour cartridges hold 7ml. Office printing and home use printing on average print considerable more black and white than colour prints, hence the difference in volumes.
Q. The Epson Workforce WF-3520DWF printer - is this the right multipack?
A. Yes the Epson T1295 multipack is your required ink. The individual cartridges are named: T1291, T1292, T1293 & T1294 and the combined pack T1295, so this can be confusing when locating the right ink.
Q. I am slightly unsure if I should be ordering the T1295 multipack. The T1285 ink have been working in my printer so far but when I checked your site it lists the T1295 too. Which should I order now and what is the difference?
A. Certain Epson printers use both models and your printer is an example of this. We always advised our customers to select the Epson T1295 given the choice as they are the Extra large version. The black T1291 holds 11ml and the colours T1292, T1293 and T1294 hold 7ml. An increase in the capacity of the t1285 and for the same cost so it definitely makes sense to go with these.
Q. Do these compatibles have an in built chip or do the chips have to added by the customer. I used compatibles previously where the chip had to be added which was a nuisance?
A. Certainly not with these compatible brands. The chips are already added to the cartridge ready to go. There are no preliminary tasks to be completed before installation. Just open the packaging, remove the cartridges, place each into the printer in the correct colour location and then close the printer. Just remember to peel away the yellow seal from the ink container otherwise the ink will not get through to the printer heads on to the paper.
