Q. How many pages will the LC123 cartridges print?
A. 600 pages is a general figure to expect but as we mentioned above this will be determined by what printer model and the print format. Even though each model uses the same cartridges the printer efficiency will impact the overall print volume. Exterior factors like the paper surface and the ink density of the print copy i.e pictures being higher density than text for example.
Q. How easy are the compatibles to install?
A. We supply the New Generation LC123 compatibles which are the advanced version. These will install and work as easy as originals. The lower standard versions will give problems with these cartridges, which is why we do not supply them.
Q. There are a number of different packs. Not sure which multipack is right for me?
A. Yes you are correct there are 4 different packs for compatible LC123 ink and 1 pack for the originals. Selecting the appropriate pack very much depends on what the end user is printing. If print quality is the most important requirement, high resolution prints for large photographs being a good example of this. Then we would recommend the original packs with a slight edge in output visual quality.
However if one was printing big volumes where cost and value are most prominent, compatibles packs are right choice. If you look at the pricing structures the cost obviously increases with the size of the multipacks, but the cost per cartridge reduces. Meaning the higher multipacks are the preferred option. As we mentioned earlier we supply the New Generation Compatible LC123 ink with advanced features that allow ease of use. Other cheaper compatible brands will be difficult to install and could have issues printing.
Q. Can I install one colour or do I need to install all 4 for the compatible lc123 multipack to work?
A. This very much depends on your specific printer and the model. Some Brother printers will allow individual compatibles to work but in some cases the complete multipack needs to be installed. The updates downloaded from Brother will also have a significant impact. Many of the updates can restrict the printer functionality so it is a good idea to check what the functionality is before agreeing to download and install.
