Refilling the Brother TN2320 Toner cartridge
Refilling your Brother TN2320 cartridge laser toner cartridges with a refill toner will reduce the cost of printing to a great extent. By using the high quality of refill toners you can cut the laser toner costs by up to 87%.
A starter cartridge comes free with the printer and has to be refilled whenever it gets empty. There are two differences between a starter cartridge and a regular TN2320 high yield cartridge. These are - the amount of toner it contains and it is missing the reset gear.
TonerTopUp supplies laser toner refills for your Brother TN2320 cartridges.
The number of Brother TN2320 cartridge laser toner refills depends on the individual laser toner cartridge, but several refills might be possible before the components are broken. When a laser toner cartridge eventually needs replacing, then any unused refill toner can be reclaimed for use in another one.
General Process:
- Before all the toner is being used up, the printer will ask for the cartridge to be changed.
- Hence, it is very important that overriding of this replace toner message is done and then you can continue to print until the cartridge is really empty. This will save you from emptying a large amount of residual toner from the cartridge and hence all the toner will be used up.
- In case if you do not override and continue to print, you will need to empty the toner before refilling. How you override the replace toner message will depend on which printer you have.
- This can be further understood by the example that in the HL printer series, you have to press the go button seven times in quick succession. When you turn on the Continue Mode All LEDs blink twice and all LEDs blink once when you turn off the Continue Mode.
Filling your Brother TN2320 cartridge cartridges makes sense not only economically but environmentally too, as it reduces waste landfill and conserves raw materials. This is recycling at its optimum, and hence, conserving both money and material resources.

1. The toner is not installed properly
Turn off the printer and take out the toner cartridge. Check if there is any packaging material left on the cartridge. If Yes then remove it. Check and remove the sealing tape of the toner. Reinstall the toner and turn the printer on. The error should be disappeared after this, if not, continue with the next step.
2. Clean the corona wire
This issue may have occurred because the corona wire has become dirty. While installing the toner be careful that you don't touch the corona wire. To get rid of the errors, you need to take out the toner and clean the corona wire.
3. Update the firmware to the latest version
If all the above methods do not work then you might need to download the latest version of firmware on your PC and run a scan.
You can find the latest version for the firmware on the download section of Brother's official site.
Go to the Firmware Update Tool in the Downloads section, check detail information to identify the firmware version. If the firmware version of your Brother machine is earlier than the latest version, update the firmware. Follow the installation instructions on the download page.
After the update, restart the printer. Reconnect the printer to the PC and start printing. The error should be resolved by now.
