How to reset the toner level after refilling the Brother TN2320 toner cartridges in the printer?

Follow these steps to reset the toner cartridge for your Brother Machine:

• Place the refilled toner cartridge into your printer.
• To recognise the cartridge, print an alignment page. The printer will now analyse the ink level where it was before refilling.
• Remove the old cartridge from the printer and install a new one. Let the Brother printer print an alignment page again so that it could recognise the cartridge as a different cartridge from the previous one.
• Now, replace the second cartridge from the third one. Once replaced, run the same alignment test page.
• The printer only preserves the memory of two print cartridges. Consequently, it will erase the memory of the first (refilled) toner cartridge.
• Install the refilled toner cartridge into your printer. The HP printer will now recognise the cartridge as full.
• Strip over the contact squares on the top left corner of the cartridge contacts. Insert the cartridge into the printer and print an alignment page. Ignore any message that might appear stating if there is a problem with the cartridge.
• Take the cartridge out of the printer. From the left corner remove the tape and put the tape back over the contact squares on the top right corner.
• Place the cartridge back into its position and run another alignment page.
• Remove and reinsert the toner cartridge (make sure that there is no tape remaining on any of the contacts). Check if the printer recognizes the cartridge as full.
• If the cartridge is still shown being empty, repeat the above steps. For this time, use the bottom corner contact squares instead of the top ones.
