You can verify the ink cartridges are installed correctly by following the instructions listed below:
- Open the Brother DCP 165C Ink Cartridges cover door.
- Remove the ink cartridge from the machine by pushing the four coloured levers down.
- Check that the power is turned ON and install the ink cartridges. It won't be able to detect the toner cartridges if the power is OFF.
