2. Now open the HP950XL ink cartridge and HP951XL ink cartridges access door.
3. Push at the front of the ink cartridge to release it.
4. Remove it from that slot.

Instructions for refilling HP950xl Ink cartridges and HP951xl Ink cartridges: The following instructions below will clearly show you how to refill your HP950xl Ink cartridges and HP951xl Ink cartridges: You need the following supplies:

• a drill (3mm diameter)
• syringes with needles
• plugs for the filler openings

Refilling the coloured HP951xl Ink cartridges:

1. Hold your HP 951 cartridge and drill a filler opening at the lower guide rail. We recommend a 3mm hole in order to be able to close the hole with our plugs after refilling.
2. Draw as much ink as recommended into a syringe. Insert the needle into the cartridge carefully.
3. Make sure that the needle does not puncture the plastic bag inside the cartridge. This bag is not filled, it only compensates the pressure inside the cartridge while printing.
4. Now carefully insert the ink. After refilling the cartridge, close the filler opening with one of our sealing plugs. Make sure that the sealing plug does not protrude from the guide rail. Otherwise you will not be able to reinsert the cartridge into the print head.

Refilling the black HP950xl Ink cartridge:

1. To refill the black cartridge, proceed as with the coloured one. Drill a 3mm filler opening into the lower guide rail of the cartridge.
2. Carefully insert the filled syringe with needle into the cartridge. Make sure that the needle does not puncture the plastic bag inside the cartridge. This bag is not filled, it only compensates the pressure inside the cartridge while printing.
